Job Opportunity: Furniture Assembler

We are seeking an experienced cabinet maker to join our workshop team in the Inner West. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and assembling high-quality furniture, as well as supporting finishing tasks.

  • Prepare CNC-cut panels through sanding, drilling, lamello, mitre saw, edgebanding, and minor repairs
  • Assemble furniture, joinery, pegboards, and IKEA hacks
  • Support finishing tasks such as masking and de-nibbing
  • Contribute to quality control, packaging, dispatch, and deliveries
  • Assist with installs and on-site projects when required
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools are well-maintained

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience as a cabinet maker/joiner
  • Confident operation of standard machinery and hand tools
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-focused individual
  • Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment
  • Forklift license and manual driver's license advantageous
