Job Description

This is a two-year contract offering an opportunity to shape the future of fundraising in South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) to deliver high-quality care and experiences for the community.

The Fundraising and Donor Engagement Manager will work as part of the Strategic Planning and Projects Team and Strategic Communications and Media Team within the Strategy and Partnerships Directorate, SWSLHD.

  • Leverage expertise creating and growing shared value opportunities, leadership, and relationship building to support the health of south west Sydney communities.
  • Develop and implement a district-wide fundraising and sponsorship strategy and coordinated approach to the fundraising mix across six hospitals and a range of specialist health services.
  • Build and maintain donor and sponsor relationships, identify priority and diversification revenue opportunities, and develop robust governance and standardized processes for philanthropy / donations / sponsorships across SWSLHD.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, communications or marketing are desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to determine the organisation's future fundraising mix.
  • Building blocks required to bring it to life.
