We are seeking a professional to join our team as an Immigration Law Assistant. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about immigration law and have experience in administrative tasks.

Job Description

This position involves providing high-level support to the Special Counsel and Senior Associate with matters in Immigration Law. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive file and document management, proactive handling of solicitor and client requests, monitoring critical dates to ensure deadlines are met, assisting with monthly invoicing, coordination of police checks and translations, and file closing and archiving.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A genuine interest and/or experience in Immigration Law (essential)
  • Relevant administrative experience in a professional firm (at least 12 months full-time equivalent)
  • Confidence in client and professional interactions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication, organisational and file management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
