We are looking for a motivated Immigration Lawyer to join our Sydney office. The ideal candidate will bring a client-focused approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
You will gain hands-on experience in every aspect of immigration law, from employer-sponsored visas to complex tribunal matters. You will also collaborate with Accredited Specialists and highly skilled senior immigration lawyers, ensuring your growth and development in this field are second to none.
Your Key Responsibilities- Work closely with a senior immigration lawyer, learning firsthand how to handle challenging and high-value cases.
- Assist with typical transactional cases to complex visa applications, appeals, ministerial intervention requests, and other strategic immigration matters.
- Prepare submissions, legal arguments, and supporting documentation for clients.
- Attend hearings, client meetings, and consultations, gaining exposure to a wide variety of cases.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on Australian immigration law and policy changes.
- Develop strong client relationships, providing professional and empathetic legal assistance.
- Candidates who have completed their legal studies and are ready to take on a full-time legal role are preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Australian immigration law are preferred.
- Must have full work rights if a temporary visa holder. We may offer employer sponsorship.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple cases simultaneously.
- A passion for immigration law and a genuine commitment to helping clients navigate complex legal processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently while receiving mentorship.
