We are currently seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Milton, Brisbane.
This fast-paced position involves coordinating the allocation of up to 120 trucks on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities- Developing effective allocation models and service opportunities
- Fostering relationships with delivery partners in sales and operations
- Ensuring timely customer communications and effective allocations to meet customer expectations
- Forward planning for efficient logistics and resource allocation
- Scheduling orders to maximize volume, profitability, and customer service
- Identifying additional sales and service opportunities for key customers
- Experience in fleet allocation and scheduling
- Previous logistics experience including chain of responsibility and fatigue management knowledge
- Background in the transport or construction industry
- Knowledge of the QLD metropolitan geographical area
- Ability to work varying shifts between 5.30am – 5:00pm and rotating Saturdays 6am - 1pm
- Capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work as part of a team and contribute to shared goals
