Job Title: General Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our team in Bowen, Queensland.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered medical care to our community. This includes conducting clinical consultations, diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions, and offering preventive care and health education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient consultations and assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions, both acute and chronic.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as appropriate.
  • Provide preventive care, including health screenings, vaccinations, and health advice.
  • Collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure a high standard of care.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Medical degree and full registration with the relevant medical board.
  • Fellowship with RACGP (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
