Occupational Therapy Leadership Opportunity in Western Sydney

Star HR is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead our growing team of junior therapists in the Western Sydney region.
Job SummaryWe are committed to providing therapeutic supports to clients living with a disability, and we need an experienced Occupational Therapist to shape and develop our junior team members through igniting their passion for quality service delivery. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will undertake assessments, provide clinical supervision, and work alongside our OT Director to achieve meaningful outcomes for people with disabilities and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify daily living capabilities and provide evidence-based intervention.
- Provide clinical supervision, knowledge, and support to junior therapists to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Collaborate with the OT Director to develop and implement best practice services that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.
- Liaise with families and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Develop and deliver treatment plans, guidance, and education to individuals and their carers, empowering them to achieve their goals.
- Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration).
- A strong passion for facilitating meaningful outcomes for people with disabilities and their families.
- Desire to work with and support junior therapists, promoting their growth and development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- A current driver's license and car, enabling flexibility in client visits and teamwork.
- Working with Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these).
- Occupational Therapy and paediatric NDIS experience, preferred but not essential.
- An estimated salary range of $110K - $120K Base + Super, dependent on experience.
