  • About the Role

    At Capgemini, we are seeking an experienced Oracle Applications Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. This is a key position responsible for the administration, management, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments.

  • Key Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will ensure the high availability, performance, and security of Oracle applications, databases, and underlying infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

    • Oracle E-Business Suite Administration: Manage and administer Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 or later), including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and cloning.
    • Database Management: Administer Oracle databases (versions 11g, 12c, 19c), ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and security.
    • Patching and Upgrades: Apply Oracle patches (including CPU and PSU patches) and perform EBS upgrades in both test and production environments.
    • Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize system performance, including database tuning, application tuning, and query optimization.
    • Security Management: Implement security best practices, including database security, encryption, user management, and role-based access control.
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA, with hands-on experience managing Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.1/R12.2) and Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c).
    • Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture and underlying components.
    • Expertise in Oracle database administration, SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
    • Proficiency in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and patch management.
    • Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, WebLogic, and Linux/Unix operating systems.
