Our Role:

The Database Administrator (DBA) / Engineer (DBE) is an expert in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases. As a key member of our CTO office, this role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance databases for our Software as a Service (SaaS) application.

This position involves ensuring the scalability, availability, and performance of our database systems, aligning with industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of database administration, data modeling, and data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement highly scalable and available database architectures
  • Maintain optimal database performance, efficiency, and security
  • Develop and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in database administration, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data architecture principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
