Senior Business Systems Analyst

The University of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our business analysis team, you will play a critical role in identifying, defining, and converting business requirements into strategic system designs for large ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce robust cybersecurity practices in alignment with UQ's Cyber Security Policy, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify needs, and propose innovative solutions for process improvement.
- Evaluate feasibility and recommend solutions, translating business needs into system specifications while adhering to standards.
- Lead functional delivery, provide senior technical advice, and contribute to business cases, maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst who possesses:
- Postgraduate qualifications in IT, business, or a related field, or demonstrates significant progress towards such qualifications, coupled with extensive relevant experience.
- Significant hands-on experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions applications.
- Substantial experience in business analysis and requirements gathering across ERP platforms, with a proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, conduct analysis, produce solution designs, and prioritize delivery in alignment with agreed service expectations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including the capacity to conceptualize, establish, and implement new initiatives and innovative solutions.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and precise user and functional specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective mentoring, functional leadership, and communication with diverse stakeholders.
