About the Role

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting Aurora Energy's systems from internal and external threats. You will focus on delivering security controls in a hybrid cloud environment, partnering with other business units to ensure effective and user-friendly security controls are developed and implemented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage security incidents and ensure targets are met
  • Develop reports around cyber security assessment-based findings, including security maturity recommendations and actions
  • Stay up to date and informed about emerging threats in an ever-changing environment

About You

You will be a curious and innovative individual with a strong commitment to delivering better customer outcomes. You will have an understanding of cyber security best practices and the ability to effectively interact with and influence internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Understanding of cloud security principles
  • Bachelor's degree or qualification in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • Equivalent industry experience in Cyber Security
