Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a Community Support Specialist, you will provide practical and emotional support to women living in our supported accommodation service.
About the RoleThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and helping others build capacity and independence. You will work collaboratively with case workers and program staff to deliver safe, person-centred care.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver daily client support including crisis response, daily living assistance, and independent living skill development.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping, referrals, and client documentation.
- Support meal preparation, housekeeping, and general household tasks.
- Contribute to a respectful, safe and supportive environment for clients.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, and experience supporting clients with mental health challenges, trauma, or disadvantage.
