
Administrative Role for Indigenous Community Development

As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing oversight of administration, quality improvement and financial functions relevant to Winyanboga Nangha. You will also ensure a friendly, safe, and culturally sensitive first point of contact for all visitors to the Centre.
Part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will have a strong understanding of the sensitivities of clients presenting with family violence and the impacts these issues may have on clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications">- ">
- You are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.">
- Preferred minimum qualifications include Certificate IV Business Administration or a relevant discipline.">
- Demonstrated knowledge of the local Aboriginal community including Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative.">
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal Family Violence.">
- Proven high level experience in Microsoft Office suite of products.">
- Demonstrated experience in operating telephone systems and a high level of client service and telephone communication skills.">
- Proven experience in administration, record management and finance.">
- Demonstrated understanding and application of Privacy and Confidentiality and the various Family Violence Information Sharing Schemes.">
