We're seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as the Show Experience Lead for Geelong Surf Coast. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution and production of events in your city.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution and production of events, working closely with the regional and local teams.
- Act as the local contact for the market's crew, artists, and hosts, ensuring events run smoothly and safely.
- Represent Sofar Sounds for local media opportunities and advise the regional team on growth and innovation.
- Develop and host local events, bringing the team and community together.
- Scout, refer, and recommend artists, venues, crew, and community partners that align with Sofar's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and representation.
- Work shows regularly, up to 15 per month, dependent on market needs.
- Deep love of live music and connection to the local music community.
- People management experience and ability to work autonomously.
- Sincere and empathetic approach to work and communications.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well with deadlines and problem-solving.
- Passionate about building and supporting local community.
- Previous experience in producing live music events, customer service, or hospitality is a plus.
