Procurement and Contract Management Expert

The Contract Management Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing and continuously improving procurement and contract management strategies. This involves assessing organisational needs, creating processes and deploying systems to drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement benchmarking methodologies to evaluate contract performance across various contracts.
- Provide regular contract performance reports to senior management, highlighting key issues or risks and suggesting effective rectification strategies.
- Manage the centralised contract register and collaborate with local authorities to ensure contracts comply with relevant regulations.
- Offer expert advice on contract deliverables and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee compliance with legislation, industry standards and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Applicants must possess completed Level 3 or 4 Procurement Certification or have extensive knowledge of procurement, contract management and public tendering.
- Candidates should demonstrate proven ability to contribute to strategic and operational planning through innovative problem-solving and a deep understanding of contemporary procurement and contract administration principles.
- Strong communication skills that showcase stakeholder engagement in complex environments and negotiation skills are essential.
