**Job Description**

We are seeking a seasoned leader to guide our well-established and successful team in major project delivery across the mining asset lifecycle.

This role will oversee the development, delivery, and growth of a substantial portfolio within our business unit, focused on our Eastern States.

  • Develop strategy and plans to drive sector growth and development opportunities for the region and work in conjunction with the wider leadership and project delivery team.
  • Provide strategic leadership and support in pursuit planning.
  • Lead and support development of a cross-functional team of professionals and ensure collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and environmental standards.
  • Identify client needs and opportunities, offering innovative, senior-level solutions to address client challenges.

About this role

We require a proactive mindset and strong financial and commercial experience to lead and expand our East Coast Mining Capital Project offering.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Construction Management or Commerce.
  • Extensive experience working in the resources sector, with commodities such as coal, gold, bauxite/alumina, rare earths, and mineral sands.
  • Proven experience as a people leader successfully guiding and coaching teams.
  • Proactive approach to addressing challenges and managing risks.
