About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Programme Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects and programmes, developing working relationships with clients and stakeholders, and driving projects to successful completion.

You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting projects in the world, and will be supported by our experienced and knowledgeable team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex projects and programmes from start to finish
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Drive projects to successful completion, meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Manage the design process to achieve client requirements and manage expectations
  • Review project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
  • Manage project safety and environmental requirements
  • Manage project timelines, risks and reporting
  • Manage project budgets and advise on options to keep budget on track
  • Chair project/site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors (including remote travel within the NT as necessary)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification relating to a technical field: Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering and Architecture
  • 3 + years industry experience managing projects
  • Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded
  • Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programmes as the key client interface
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
  • Defence Clearances will be highly regarded

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:

Location

This role is based in Sydney, Australia. However, we encourage applicants from other locations who may be willing to relocate for the right opportunity.
