Job Title: Experienced Timber Staircase Installer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an experienced timber staircase installer. The successful candidate will have proven experience in installing custom-designed timber staircases, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

  • Install custom-designed timber staircases according to specifications and drawings;
  • Read and interpret plans, site measurements, and installation instructions;
  • Liaise professionally with builders, site managers, and clients;
  • Conduct site checks to ensure installations meet safety standards and quality expectations;
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues on-site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in staircase installation, carpentry, or joinery (minimum 2-3 years preferred);
  • Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III + Apprenticeship);
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team;
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and excellent problem-solving skills;
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card) and valid driver's license;
  • Tools & suitable vehicle.
