Job Title: Senior Engineer - Distributed Energy Resources Technical Integration

We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer to join our Future Energy Systems team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of the energy industry.

Job Description

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in defining technical requirements for distributed energy resources (DER). You will collaborate with industry stakeholders to develop solutions that support a power system with high levels of DER.

You will lead engineering and analysis projects to address power system challenges related to increasing DER. This includes developing standards, ensuring compliance, and adapting to evolving behaviors.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Technology, or Science/Maths (with a power system focus), or equivalent relevant discipline or work experience
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects in distributed energy
  • Skilled in preparing, reviewing, and finalising high-quality technical documentation and reports
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and summarise complex data and insights
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) across diverse audiences and stakeholders
