Job Title: Cyber Security Advocate

Position Overview:

We seek a skilled Cyber Security Advocate to play a vital role in promoting security awareness across the organisation. As a key member of the Cyber Security Education and Awareness team, you will be responsible for triaging enquiries, building relationships with internal teams, and driving all Cyber Security communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and manage all enquiries from teams across the broader Suncorp Group.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with internal Suncorp teams.
  • Drive all Cyber Security communications for the Cyber Security and Risk domain.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Familiarity with Australian regulatory & legislative compliance requirements such as APRA, Privacy Act, and PCI.
  • Experience in communications, awareness, and change management, customer experience or related disciplines.
  • Technology experience in large enterprises, preferably financial services.
  • General knowledge of tools, tactics, techniques, and processes of attackers.
  • Confident communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Passion for Cyber Security education and awareness, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Previous experience working within an agile environment.
