
Cyber Security Partnerships Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to build and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across diverse industries, governments, and academia. The successful candidate will identify opportunities, develop strategies, and collaborate with partners to advance our cyber security mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capturing, reporting, and providing feedback on lessons learned
- Organizing workshops, presentations, training sessions, briefings, and collaboration meetings
- Advocating for the importance of cyber security and promoting joint public-private projects
- Identifying and onboard new partners into our Partnership Program
- Completing regular and ad-hoc reporting, and actively seeking feedback from partners to support continuous improvement
- Analysing and ensuring compliance with policy frameworks and guidelines
- Coordinating VIP visits
- Managing administrative and project-related tasks
About Our Team:
Our organization leads the Australian Government's efforts on national cyber security. Our mission is to make Australia the most secure place to connect online. We need a broad mix of skill sets to run our Partnerships Program - strategic thinkers, technologists, and professionals with excellent communication skills, initiative, and a passion for building holistic understanding of cyber security.
Requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and active listening
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
- Excellent judgment and discretion, and ability to make decisions in ambiguous conditions
- Technical understanding/experience/qualifications in Information Technology or cyber security, or understanding of cyber security policy and how organisations/government implement
- Experience liaising with industry on behalf of a large organisation
- Proactive self-starter with an ability to develop solutions and achieve results within tight timeframes
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff
