We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving treatment at GenesisCare medical oncology centres.
This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense medication, including chemotherapy to patients.
- Conduct clinical review of treatment orders in MOSAIQ.
- Approve chemotherapy orders for preparation or supply.
- Release aseptically prepared products.
- Manage inventory and process pharmacy invoices.
- Provide medication counselling and participate in pre-admission clinics.
- Be an active member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- General unrestricted pharmacy registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and commitment to patient-focused pharmacy practice.
- Minimum of three years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in an oncology/haematology setting.
- Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate clinical pharmacy services.
- An ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work across all sites in the greater Sydney area.
