Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Lead Dispensary Pharmacist to join our team at Northern Beaches Hospital.

This is a permanent full-time position that involves leading a team of Pharmacists in the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications within a clinical pharmacy setting.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership capabilities and experience in hospital pharmacy or community pharmacy.

  • Lead the dispensary Pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing
  • Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Mentor and support Pharmacists and Technicians in best practice dispensing procedures
  • Collaborate closely with Clinicians, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • General pharmacist registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice
  • Current professional indemnity insurance
  • Minimum 2 years Pharmacist experience in an Australian setting, with demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on growth and innovation
