The ideal candidate is a seasoned HSE leader ready to influence organisational culture and system-wide safety performance.

The Role
  • Partner with executive and frontline leaders to uplift workplace health and safety systems, culture, and strategic capability
  • Champion occupational health and safety and occupational violence prevention across healthcare and high-risk service settings
  • Lead investigations, workplace health and safety audits, and incident response with a people-centred lens
  • Support complex injury management and return-to-work strategies alongside People and Culture
  • Build a tailored workplace health and safety management system that reflects legal and community realities
  • Coordinate and continuously improve occupational health and safety and Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) strategies across all service areas.
Skills/Experience
  • Formal OHS qualifications and deep experience in community health, justice or complex service environments
  • Proven success influencing organisational safety culture and leading workplace health and safety strategy
  • A hands-on approach to risk, return-to-work and injury management
  • Strong stakeholder communication and the ability to coach managers across levels
  • An appetite to drive change, reduce risk, and make a social impact
  • Current Working With Children Check, National Police Check, Driver's Licence
