Leading Innovation in R&D Tax

This position plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our Research and Development (R&D) tax practice.

Job Description

The Practice Director will lead a team of professionals, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and exceptional client service in R&D tax incentives, credits, and grants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Services:
    • Omitizing R&D tax benefits for clients and advising on tax changes
    • Providing thought leadership, evaluating R&D activity eligibility, and overseeing Technical Writers
    • Managing R&D tax costs, creating comprehensive project descriptions, and offering grant writing support to Business Services clients
  • Client Service:
    • Overseeing R&D Tax client engagements, including initial meetings, eligibility evaluation, documentation review, and registration completion
    • Collaboration with clients, maintaining strong client relationships and offering customized solutions
    • Managing multiple engagements simultaneously without compromising service
  • Business Development:
    • Seeking new business development opportunities
    • Identifying growth opportunities in R&D tax practice
    • Participating in marketing, delivering comprehensive R&D services, and fostering cross-selling and up-selling culture
  • Leadership:
    • Leading and mentoring R&D tax professionals, ensuring high-quality services, fostering a collaborative culture, promoting T&D services, and providing annual training and resources
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Reporting on R&D registration status, preparing tax incentive claims, ensuring documentation accuracy, and providing government incentives and grant awareness
