**Job Title:** Administrative Officer
Job Description:We are seeking experienced and skilled individuals to fill various administrative roles within the Recognition & Customs section. As a Team Member in this role, you will be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments.
The successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.
This role is responsible for maintaining Honours and Awards, including the provision of AFP internal awards and the facilitation of external awards and higher honours to current and former members.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and process nominations for meritorious awards within the Australian Honours & Awards System, including the Australian Police Medal and Public Service Medal.
- Plan and execute Award Musters, in consultation with executive support staff, both locally and interstate.
- Maintain SAP records, excel spreadsheets and award databases.
- Provide timely and accurate advice to current and formers members through the team inbox and hotline.
- Coordinate high level projects, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Provide quality assurance of medals prior to dispatch.
- Develop, strengthen and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Ceremonial & Protocol
This role is also responsible for assisting the Team Leader in developing resources involved in the effective delivery of the Ceremonial & Protocol Network and key events.
