Overview

$75,000 – $80,000 per year pro rata .6 FTE

The Operations Coordinator will support the ACT Division Manager by taking responsibility for achieving use of the Duke of Ed in ACT Government public schools and colleges. The Operations Coordinator will also contribute to securing support/endorsement of the ACT Education Directorate, ACT Community Services Directorate and the ACT Council of Parent and Citizens Association. This role plays an important part in the growth of Duke of Ed throughout the ACT region.

In addition, the Operations Coordinator will assist in delivering Duke of Ed Leader (volunteer) Training throughout the ACT.

This is a customer/client facing position and an ideal role for a self-starter with an education and training background that values relationship building, achieving tangible outcomes, wants to be part of a big social purpose vision and values a flexible and highly supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the ACT Division Manager by driving use of the Duke of Ed in ACT Government public schools and colleges.
  • Contribute to securing endorsement of the ACT Education Directorate, ACT Community Services Directorate and the ACT Council of Parent and Citizens Association.
  • Help grow Duke of Ed throughout the ACT region.
  • Assist in delivering Duke of Ed Leader (volunteer) Training throughout the ACT.
  • Manage customer/client facing interactions to build relationships and achieve tangible outcomes.
Qualifications/What we are looking for
  • Education and training background with strengths in relationship building and outcomes-focused work.
  • Experience in operations coordination and/or roles requiring relationship management.
  • Ability to work in a self-starter capacity in a flexible and supportive environment.
