We are seeking a compassionate and meticulous individual to join our team as a Cleaner - Casual in an aged care facility. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents.

Working in a supportive and dynamic team, you will be provided with a challenging and diverse work environment, as well as opportunities to contribute and make a real difference to the residential aged care community.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift
  • Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility, following established cleaning protocols
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the facility
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission
  • Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Collaborate with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents

To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply an NDIS worker screening clearance, and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
