Job SummaryWe are seeking experienced and compassionate Caregivers to join our team in providing home care services to clients in the Yarra Ranges area. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering personal care and domestic assistance, as well as providing social support and transportation services as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and domestic assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist clients with activities that contribute to a clean, tidy, and safe living environment
- Observe clients' physical, emotional, and behavioral status, and report any observations or concerns
- Ensure clients' clothing and personal belongings are kept safe and well-maintained
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining friendly, supportive, and professional relationships with clients and their relatives
- Ensure that clients' rights, cultural, spiritual, and other individual needs are respected in all aspects of care and daily living
- Previous experience in a home care setting or in providing domestic support
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence
- A registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or a willingness to obtain them
- Knowledge of community care and a commitment to maintaining high standards for clients and their families
- An understanding of client-centered care
- The ability to thrive in a team environment while also valuing one-on-one interactions
