Housekeeper Role

The Crocodile Hunter Lodge is a unique and exciting place to work, providing guests with a world-class experience.

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who love the outdoors and Australian wildlife. This role offers the opportunity to work in a truly exceptional team environment.

Duties:

  • Cleaning and servicing guest cabins, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and floors.
  • Cleaning reception and restaurant areas to maintain the lodge's high standards.
  • Ensuring all cabins are fully stocked with guest amenities.
  • Refilling, replacing, and storing towels and linen correctly.
  • Reporting maintenance and safety issues in a timely manner.
  • Managing lost property according to lodge procedures.
  • Maintaining housekeeping equipment and using it correctly.
  • Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes and following safe work practices.
  • Adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
  • Providing excellent communication and guest relations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a 4 or 5-star establishment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, customer-focused attitude with a drive to provide customer satisfaction.
  • Good eye for detail, willingness to use initiative, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and high standard of grooming and presentation.
  • Strong availability, including weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
  • Proven experience working within a small team or autonomously and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Previous experience using chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
