Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to lead a team of engineers and designers in the delivery of medium to large-scale EPC and EPCM projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electrical components and processes.

  • The role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to plan and conduct independent electrical work, evaluate and select electrical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in design, procurement, construction, commissioning, or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, or process plants, and knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computer applications within the Electrical engineering discipline.
  • A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience are required, as well as current RPEQ registration.

Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, modification, and evaluation of components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission, and storage of electricity, reviewing and approving key calculations, licensing evaluations, design documents, supplier drawings, and data, and communicating complex technical issues and recommending solutions to upper management.
