The role of Assistant Engineer involves participating in the engineering design process from land appraisal to construction completion. Supervising site works and progress sites through to adoption is a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in the initial stage of infrastructure delivery on new sites, including services, foundations, and diversions/disconnections.

2. Ensure site works are undertaken in accordance with technical approvals obtained from regulatory bodies.

3. Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with their technical specifications.

4. Progress roads, sewers, and streetlights to the maintenance period and final adoption.
