This position requires the successful candidate to be an Australian Citizen and possess a NV1 security clearance.
Position Overview
The role of Applications Support Officer is a key engineering position within the ICT Platform Services and Support Section. The application services supported by this section primarily include Microsoft Dynamics CRM (on-premises), SharePoint (on-prem), Intelledox Infiniti, and the .Net framework, alongside some legacy applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and optimize existing applications and services through a blend of business and ICT-led initiatives.
- Plan, schedule, and execute routine maintenance activities, including upgrades and updates.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation regarding application configurations and interdependencies.
- Monitor applications and services to proactively identify and address issues.
- Provide support for the agency's utilization of applications and services, including potential end-user training.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience and in-depth operational knowledge of server-based applications/services, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Intelledox Infiniti, SharePoint, .Net applications, and Azure technologies.
- Proficient in the development and maintenance of documentation and procedures.
- Experience in end-user support and training.
