Nursing Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive holistic care that addresses their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify the unique needs of each resident, inform care planning, and drive positive outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to enhance their skills and promote a culture of excellence, quality, and compassion.
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and caregivers to provide empathetic support and promote open communication.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal resident outcomes.
- A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical nursing practice, including proficiency in contemporary care documentation models.
- Proven experience in generalist registered nursing, preferably in an aged care setting.
- The ability to quickly understand and incorporate relevant aged care standards into daily practice.
- Relevant probity checks as required by legislation and policy.
- Proof of vaccination status as required by legislation, health directives, or policy.
