Job Title: Lead/Architect – Oracle Infrastructure

Job Summary:

DXC Technology is seeking a highly skilled Lead/Architect – Oracle Infrastructure to join our team. As a key member of our Oracle Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing technical consulting services to clients in the discipline of system architecture and component integration, particularly across both Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Engineered Systems environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team responsible for Oracle-based Infrastructure project and operational deliverables.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and assist team members in implementing the solution.
  • Communicate technical architecture direction and coordinate technical proof of concept analyses.
  • Solve technical and performance problems within the technical infrastructure.
  • Participate in providing gap analyses, highlighting current state, future state, client needs, best practices, and competition.
  • Interact with confidence and ease when interacting with middle- and senior-level managers (client and company).
  • Assist sales staff in qualifying leads and generating proposals.
  • Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Communicate in formal presentation settings, including proposal orals, client workshops, and regional internal events.

Requirements:

  • Team Lead experience – at least 1 year.
  • OCI architecting and implementation experience – at least 3 years.
  • Administration experience with Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata and/or ODA) – at least 3 years.
  • Consulting experience with technical architecture analysis and design in Oracle-based environments – at least 5 years.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Good Linux/UNIX skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be physically based in Australia.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex technical problems.
  • Proven technical infrastructure design skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
  • Ability to devise creative technical solutions.
  • Relevant OCI & Oracle certifications.
  • The ability to obtain at least an Australian Baseline security clearance would be an advantage.
  • Experience with Oracle ZDLRA Engineered Systems would be an advantage.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid – primarily WFH, but with regular office attendance.
  • May require evening or weekend work.
