Emergency Care Educator

The RPA Emergency Department is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to play a key role in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
This challenging and rewarding position aims to build capacity among individuals to deliver safe, evidence-based care, incorporating reflective practice for continual improvement.
- A patient and family-focused culture will be promoted, supporting staff to deliver innovative models of care and proactively manage change.
- The Clinical Nurse Educator will contribute to the overall improvement of health service delivery.
Key responsibilities include providing clinical development and training to staff, fostering a preceptor/mentor role and formulating unit-based educational programs.
The ideal candidate will have current nursing registration with AHPRA, relevant post-registration experience, extensive knowledge of RPA Emergency Department policy and procedure, and competence to work in all areas of a tertiary emergency department.
They will also be able to work 8 hours per week on a 7-day rotating roster.
