Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking skilled Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Veterinarians to join our dynamic team at a 24-hour dedicated emergency pet hospital. Our mission is to provide expert veterinary care, prioritizing the well-being of pets and their families.
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing high-quality patient care in an emergency setting, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes. As an ECC Veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact during critical moments in a pet's life.
Whether you're an experienced professional or a recent graduate eager to specialize in ECC, we invite passionate veterinarians to join us. We support ongoing clinical skill development and exposure to specialist facilities, technology, procedures, and training.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc), or equivalent degree
- At least 3 years of experience in Emergency and Critical Care
- Eligibility to practice in VIC, Australia
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- Rostered training with senior team exposure
- Bi-weekly didactic sessions (Journal club, presentations, lectures)
- Salary from $150k p.a. plus Super (for MANZCVS holders or eligible clinicians)
- Support for MANZCVS enrollment and exams
- 4 Weeks Annual Leave + 1 Week Study Leave
- $1500 CE allowance
