Job Title: CG Lighting Artist

Flying Bark Productions is a leading independent producer of family-focused animation entertainment with a 50-year history of creating award-winning feature films and TV series.

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented CG Lighting Artist to join our team to work on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Stranger Things, and Marvel Studios' What If...?. As a CG Lighting Artist, you will be responsible for lighting and rendering with Arnold using Katana, creating a pre-composite tree in Nuke, and maintaining consistency of lighting across all shots.

About the Role


  • Minimum 5+ years of production experience in 3D animated films and/or animated episodic;
  • Portfolios with mature, graphic stylization of reality preferred;
  • Experience with Arnold, Katana, and Nuke;
  • Ability to work closely with compositors and creative leads;
  • Ability to maintain good team dynamics and communicate effectively.
