Job Title: Storesperson

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced storesperson to join our team at the Carmichael Mine in Central QLD. This casual on-site role will assist with planned maintenance and may require additional work at short notice.

  • Assist with general store duties, including inspecting and documenting ingoing/outgoing goods.
  • Maintain minimum inventory levels for critical spares and consumable materials.
  • Perform general administration duties such as data entry, record keeping, and report generation.
  • General housekeeping of stores and laydown area ensuring all areas are well kept and free of safety hazards.
  • Assist CHPP Maintenance and Operations teams with routine tasks as directed.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar stores person position.
  • Sound computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised at times.
  • Current Forklift License.
  • Right to Work in Australia.
  • Current Australian Drivers License – Essential.
  • Current Standard 11 – Highly regarded.
  • Current Coal Board Medical – Highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated safety focus with the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a dynamic team.
