Looking for a challenging role in coal mining operations? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Dragline Operator at one of our mines in Central Queensland.

The Saraji open cut mine is a significant coal producer, exporting high-quality coking coal to international markets. Our mine has a large coal reserve of 648 million tonnes, making it one of the largest in Asia and the world.

As a Dragline Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently to achieve production targets. You will work on a 3D3N6X roster within the Production team and maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping, and compliance with mine working procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork
  • A proven ability to meet production targets
  • Current Dragline Operating experience with 2 years of open-cut mining experience essential
  • A current RII Competency in conducting Dragline and Dozer operations
  • Minimum 'C' Class Driver's license

Additional competencies in operating Support Equipment (Cable Reeler, Cable Tractor, and Grader) are desirable. If you have experience with D10/D11 Dozers, Graders, or other heavy machinery, it would be a significant advantage.
