Job Opportunity

The Laboratory Technician role is a chance to be part of a global team that leverages scientific testing and data-driven insights to drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze soil, water, and sediment samples using various techniques such as weighing, digesting, titrating, or solvent extraction.
  • Ensure preparation and analytical procedures are conducted in accordance with Quality Work Instructions.
  • Organize tasks to maximize daily efficiencies and complete all tasks within set timeframes.
  • Highlight anomalies in results and sample type/behavior.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Passion for the science industry.
  • TAFE or university qualifications.
  • Ability to work in a high-throughput environment with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Dedication to good laboratory practices and quality of results.
  • Flexibility to work on public holidays and weekend shifts if required.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in other sections of the laboratory.
