Chadwick Geotechnics is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Senior Laboratory Technician / Laboratory Supervisor to support our field and laboratory testing operations across the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane corridor.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality construction materials testing, maintaining NATA accreditation, and mentoring junior staff.

What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Actively deliver and perform a range of geotechnical and construction materials tests.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and NATA quality systems.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and proficiency programs.
  • Lead and train junior technicians, fostering a culture of accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
  • Liaise with field and project teams to ensure timely sample handling and reporting.
  • Promote a strong safety-first culture in all work practices.
What You\'ll Bring
  • Minimum 5-7 years\' experience as a NATA-authorised signatory in CMT or geotechnical testing.
  • Diploma of Laboratory Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian standards and Queensland TMR test methods.
  • Experience supervising teams or mentoring junior staff in a laboratory setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver\'s Licence, Construction Induction Card (White Card), and PDMG Licence desirable.
