We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Clinical Therapist. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families by providing evidence-based early intervention and therapy services.

The Job Description

As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need. You will also provide information, education, and support to clients and families, as well as developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting clinical assessments to determine client goals and areas of need
  • Providing information, education, and support to clients and families
  • Developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families
  • Providing evidence-based therapy interventions and resources
  • Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with clients and families
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA
  • Possession of counselling skills to provide counselling and knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents
  • Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable
