The College is seeking a full-time Director of Learning Support to lead our Learning Enrichment and Program Support (LEAPS) Department across both campuses.
This vital role focuses on delivering high-quality educational and developmental support for all students, staff, and families from Early Learning to Year 12.
You will oversee a dedicated team of Learning Support Teachers and Assistants, ensuring that tailored support is provided for students with diverse needs, including disabilities, well-being challenges, gifted learners, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, and those learning English as an Additional Language (EAL).
You will remain at the forefront of special education practices, contribute to whole-school curriculum delivery, and oversee professional development opportunities for staff.
Your responsibilities include assessing students' needs, implementing Individualised Education Plans, and liaising with external specialists and securing funding for resources and programs to support students' learning outcomes.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership and organisational skills, a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment, and the ability to foster collaboration among LEAPS staff, educators, Student Wellbeing Coordinators, parents, and students.
This role is essential for ensuring that every student receives the support needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful applicant must: Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) with experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
Demonstrate knowledge of best practices in learning support, special education laws, and inclusive education strategies.
Demonstrate the ability to collegiately lead a team of administrative support staff that support this role and the broader distributed teaching and learning teams.
Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities.
Applicants with post-graduate training or qualifications in working with students with diverse learning needs and prior experience liaising with government departments and overseeing funding arrangements will be highly regarded.
