The Agency is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join their team in Richmond.

 

Key responsibilities include:

- Evaluating business initiatives and projects to identify potential risks
- Developing and implementing mitigation strategies with business representatives
- Preparing and reviewing reports and corporate documentation
- Assisting in monitoring key risk indicators, risk appetite, and tolerance, and assisting with corrective action plans to mitigate risks
- Maintaining accurate risk data within the Agency's risk management system
- Identifying and extracting risk data to enhance insight into business activities
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop comprehensive risk profiles for projects and work streams

 

Requirements include:

- Australian citizenship
- Prior experience in risk management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Project management experience is desirable
- Background in government or disability services is highly advantageous

 

This is an APS6 level role offering an hourly rate + super. The position will be based out of Richmond and will have a hybrid arrangement with 2 days working from home and 3 days on site. A 37.5-hour work week is expected with 8-hour days.
