Kitchen Hand Job Description

 

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and efficient Kitchen Hand to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

  • Cleaning and maintaining general kitchen areas, including dishwashing and waste management.
  • Unpacking and signing off deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated and packed away properly.
  • Ensuring all food is prepared and handled in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked food preparation area.
  • Serving customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily service targets and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of hospitality experience, ideally in a Kitchen Hand or similar role. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene. Physically capable of lifting and moving stock. Organised and efficient with good communication skills. Willingness to learn & can-do attitude. Will have flexible availability between Monday to Friday.
