Workshop Foreman Opportunity

Job Description

The Workshop Foreman is a critical leadership position responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of one of two workshop teams. This role requires exceptional leadership, technical knowledge, and communication skills to ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Dealership workshop foreman or similar role, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of one of two workshop teams
  • Assign work to technicians and ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed
  • Monitor and maintain workshop equipment and tools
  • Ensure that all reporting to the manufacturer is accurate
  • Track and report on workshop productivity and performance
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Previous experience as a Dealership workshop foreman or similar role
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Excellent technical knowledge of automotive light vehicles, including petrol, diesel, and Electric
  • Ability to assist in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex mechanical issues following manufacturer guidelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations
