We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team at Downer Group. This role is responsible for strategic Asset whole of life planning support for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services (SI&CS) business with a special focus on Strategic Maintenance Planning.

This specialist role involves owning the development, implementation, and improvement of fit for purpose Asset Maintenance planning. You will also support the integration of delivered maintenance plans with the Asset Management Plans for contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing Asset Maintenance plans that meet the needs of the SI&CS business
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate maintenance plans with Asset Management Plans
  • Providing expertise in Asset Whole of Life principles and their application in the maintenance planning process

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in Asset Management Planning, preferably within Facilities Management
  • Experience in Strategic maintenance forecasting and its application in the maintenance planning process
  • Industry experience within government/commercial property and infrastructure, preferably in Australia
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
