Migration Project Lead

Seeking a skilled project manager to oversee the end-to-end migration of an existing data warehouse to a modern cloud-based environment. This critical initiative involves decommissioning the legacy data warehouse, migrating all data, and ensuring the new platform meets performance and security requirements.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of the data warehouse migration project, aligning with business goals.
  • Develop and manage the project schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the decommissioning of the existing data warehouse, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Coordinate the migration of all data to the new Databricks cloud environment, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure successful data migration, transformation, and testing.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to the migration, providing regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Work with business users to define requirements and ensure the new data platform meets their needs.
  • Facilitate communication across teams, ensuring clear understanding of project objectives, progress, and any roadblocks.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Post-migration, oversee the transition to operational support and ensure proper documentation is in place.
