Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex data sets from various sources, including company databases, to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to improve product development, marketing strategies, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analysis into business processes, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of projects.
  • Train individuals and corporate customers on data analysis, basic setup, and administration using industry-leading tools and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in statistics, computer programming, and data visualization techniques, with expertise in languages such as R, Python, SQL, Hive, Bigdata Hadoop, and others.
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms, particularly Azure DevOps and DevSecOps, and ability to deploy applications efficiently.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines, with experience managing multiple assignments concurrently.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $90,000 - $120,000 CAD, based on national averages for similar roles in Victoria, BC, Canada.
